Mile Limit is a neighborhood wine bar, bottle shop, and restaurant focused on thoughtful wines, Mediterranean-inspired food, and genuine hospitality.
We’re looking for someone who loves wine and loves talking to people just as much.
This isn’t a traditional restaurant serving job. Our team wears a lot of hats. On any given shift you might:
* Help guests choose a bottle to take home
* Recommend wines by the glass
* Pour tastings and flights
* Take counter orders
* Deliver food and wine to tables
* Restock retail shelves
* Learn about new producers and regions
* Help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests want to stay awhile
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has solid wine knowledge (WSET, CMS, retail, restaurant, or equivalent experience is a plus)
* Enjoys educating guests without being pretentious
* Is comfortable working independently
* Doesn’t mind switching between retail, hospitality, and light service
* Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a small team
* Can lift wine cases and stay on their feet during service
Experience
* Wine bar, restaurant, wine shop, tasting room, or sommelier experience preferred
* Passion for wine is required
