We're looking for an organized, proactive, and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to oversee our operations while supporting front-of-house leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats—from inventory management and staff training, customer service, and operational problem-solving.
This position is a working supervisor role. In addition to administrative and leadership responsibilities, you will work regular front-of-house service shifts, leading by example and providing exceptional hospitality alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
Manage inventory and ordering for all market and front-of-house products, including dry goods, beverages, grab-and-go items, packaging, and supplies.
Ensure the market is fully stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Monitor product quality and freshness while maintaining high merchandising standards.
Plan inventory based on seasonal demand, holidays, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Research and introduce new products that align with our brand.
Develop and prepare grab-and-go offerings and assist with product development and rotation.
Create product labels, shelf signage, and maintain accurate pricing and product information.
Front-of-House Leadership & Service
Work regular front-of-house service shifts, providing excellent guest service and leading by example.
Supervise front-of-house operations and oversee service.
Train, coach, and onboard new team members.
Create and maintain operational guides, checklists, reference materials, ingredient lists, and allergen information.
Support the team during busy service by assisting with the register, expediting, side work, and guest service.
Handle customer concerns, discounts, refunds, and order troubleshooting professionally.
Maintain Toast POS system functionality and assist with basic technology troubleshooting.
Catering & Operations Support
Assist with catering preparation, including charcuterie boards and specialty orders.
Coordinate inventory and staffing needs around holidays and high-volume events.
Support scheduling, ordering, and other operational tasks as needed.
Perform light maintenance, organizational projects, and general problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, café, market, or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic computer and POS system experience (Toast experience is a plus).
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
