PICANTE in Berkeley, California, serving great Mexican cuisine for 35 years, is looking for a new cashier.
Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY on weekends.
Position is part time 20-28 hours a week.
A busser/runner at Picante is the person who delivers food, cocktail orders, clears and cleans guest tables. A better definition of a busser/runner is: a food and beverage employee who does everything possible to make each guest’s dining experience exactly what they want it to be and who exceeds guest expectations whenever possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT WOULD NOT BE LIMITED TO:
You will be delivering food to the guests tables, running drinks, and constantly checking in on guests.
Side works, beer and liquor responsibilities.
Standing and walking for long hours.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 years of age
Fluent in English; both speaking and understanding. Spanish is a plus.
WE PROVIDE:
Hourly Rate is Berkeley minimum wage of $19.18 plus average tips per hour adds up to about $23-24 an hour.
