Core Responsibilities
Execute high volume food prep and production tasks with minimal supervision ensuring consistency across large batches.
Follow all written recipes and scaling instructions with exact precision and attention to detail.
Strictly adhere to specialized dietary standards specifically focusing on gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free cooking.
Prepare, cut, and portion vegetables, proteins, dressings, and sauces according to exact recipe specifications.
Take ownership of preparing and executing desserts ensuring they meet our strict nutritional standards.
Assist with recipe testing, precise ingredient scaling, and plating design to ensure meals look beautiful when packaged in delivery containers.
Package end products for delivery ensuring aesthetic presentation and portion control.
Maintain an impeccably clean, sanitized, and organized workstation in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years professional kitchen experience such as meal prep, catering, or high volume production.
Culinary degree or formal training preferred.
Proven experience in dietary departments or fine dining with a focus on health conscious cuisine.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Deep understanding of food safety protocols, proper food handling, and kitchen sanitation.
Must possess a valid California food handler card or current ServSafe certification.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
