We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team at a busy fast-casual sushi restaurant. Our business is 50/50 takeout and dine in, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
This is a working manager position—you'll be managing daily operations while actively serving guests and supporting the team on the floor.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Lead, motivate, and support the restaurant team
Work the floor as a server while providing excellent customer service
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
Handle scheduling, opening/closing duties, and daily operations
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health code standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and labor costs
Train new employees and uphold service standards
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
Previous restaurant management experience required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
Comfortable working both front and back of house
Willing to lead by example and work alongside the team
Experience in sushi or Japanese restaurants is a plus, but not required
Spanish is not required, but bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly appreciated
