We are hiring a full time or part time cashier/light prep person with barista experience a plus, at our busy, privately operated cafe on the U.C. Berkeley campus. Tuesday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm shift is available. This is a single opening for these hours, preferably for one person, or multiple positions between people.
This position requires good organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task gracefully during peak business hours, while contributing to a positive experience for guests and team members at all times.
Includes: working the Square-based register system, doing light prep of fruit and vegetables, keeping the work area and tables cleaned, restocking inventory, and making espresso drinks.
Experience preferred, proficiency in English required, Spanish speaking also a plus. We are willing to train a motivated person with limited experience. Please email your work experience resume, and include the days and hours of your availability.
