Oceanview To Go is looking for a restaurant professional with supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
• Work under the direct supervision of the To Go Manager, and General Manager to ensure the smooth day to day operation of Oceanview To Go.
• Be able to step into any role and perform all staff positions when needed.
• Food safety: Be able to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification within 60 days of employment. Position will work with other management to ensure that all food safety guidelines are consistently followed on a daily basis.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure that all breaks are taken in a timely manner.
• Work with the kitchen staff, and deli kitchen manager to ensure proper food presentation and stocking levels.
• Will be expected to assist the manager with training new staff.
Qualifications:
• Project a professional, friendly and positive attitude and outlook towards all customers and staff. A positive attitude is infectious, and people will follow that lead.
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Experience with a restaurant POS system, Toast preferred.
o Supervisor will eventually be expected to eventually learn all operational functions of our POS system.
• Able to handle a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple demands simultaneously with positivity and grace.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Spanish speaking a plus
Schedule will generally be 4-5 days a week, Sunday through Thursday; however, a flexible schedule is ideal as the perfect candidate will be expected to cover when the manager is unavailable, and to help cover shifts during vacations and when staffing shortages occur.
