We are looking for an Assistant General Manager who leads from the front, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in running a tight, disciplined operation while building a strong, positive team.
This position is a clear path to General Manager for the right person.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Operation
Run shifts and ensure smooth, efficient service at all times
Be a strong, visible leader during peak hours
Own execution of opening, closing, and shift transitions
Solve problems quickly and keep the team focused
Build & Develop the Team
Help hire, train, and onboard new staff
Coach employees and hold them accountable to high standards
Maintain a respectful, positive, no-drama work environment
Ensure punctuality and professionalism across the team
Drive Financial Performance
Execute and verify weekly inventory
Help control food cost (portioning, prep, waste reduction)
Monitor labor and adjust staffing in real time
Support scheduling and overall cost discipline
Scheduling & Labor
Assist with weekly schedules (7Shifts)
Maintain labor targets and adjust based on volume
Manage breaks and shift coverage
Inventory
Maintain accurate pars and inventory counts
Monitor ordering, receiving, and waste
Keep inventory variance within acceptable ranges
Guest Experience
Be present and engaged with guests during service
Handle issues quickly and professionally
Uphold high hospitality standards at all times
Help maintain a 4.5+ Google rating
Who You Are
Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
Comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced environments
A strong communicator and team leader
Highly organized and accountable
Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
Spanish speaking is a plus
You care about details, standards, and doing things the right way
