-Assistant Manager Job-
The Floor Manager oversees service, ensures quality control, and supports both guests and staff simultaneously. The best individual for this position would be detail-oriented and highly organized all while able to maintain a hospitable and professional demeanor. A background in Italian culture and cuisine would be favorable, though not mandatory. This is mainly a daytime/lunch position, though some evening and holiday shifts will be required. The ideal schedule for the assistant manager is Wednesday - Saturday 11am - 3 or 4pm, and all day Sunday.
-Assistant Manager Responsibilities-
• Perform the duties of a host, a server, a bartender and/or floor lead, depending on the needs of service.
• Support the service team by supervising overall restaurant flow.
• Participate in guest relations, ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
• Manage comps, voids, and guest check adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Work closely with other management and ownership.
-Assistant Manager Minimum Requirements-
• Leadership experience in a fine dining restaurant or bar.
• Service experience with the ability to work as both a server and floor lead.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food/Beverage safe handling certifications
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and be on your feet for 4-6 hours.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
-Assistant Manager Compensation-
• $22 - 30 per hour (depending on experience) + tips.
