This is a region 3 "Celestial Pictures" DVD of the 1977 action/martial arts mini-epic The Naval Commandos. You must be able to play DVDs outside of region 1 (ala an "all region player") to watch this DVD.
Audio: original Mandarin (mono). Subtitles: Chinese and English. As with most Celestial/IVL release DVDs, there are bonus features.

"All-star lineup fun
Another classic action movie from Chang Cheh and one in which he assembles a whole team of kung fu superstars from the Shaw Brothers stable. This one's a naval-themed adventure (surprise surprise) that tells of a band of Chinese patriots who plan to blow up a Japanese warship docked in their harbour in WW2. The all-star lineup includes such luminaries as David Chiang, Alexander Fu Sheng, Chi Kuan Chun and most of the Venoms in early screen appearances. It's one of those films that saves nearly all the action for the last half an hour, but don't hold that against it whatever you do: this is plot-heavy, engaging and in the end thrilling viewing, another minor classic from the studio."
