If you would like more bass compare the Low-end Frequency Response of 18Hz to others. The sound pressure is so low there is warning plate on rear of speaker that warns of permanent hearing damage and to use with caution!

Woofers has been expertly re-foamed. The very rare EV Electro Voice Interface D Equalizer has been recapped with high quality audio grade capacitors and professionally tested.

Special features of the Delta interface include an external equalizer CH-2560, which can be used to influence the treble filter slope (0/-3/-6 dB from 10 kHz). The dimensions of the equalizer are 205 x 65 x 155 mm (WxHxD) and the distortion is a maximum of 0.005% (20 - 20,000 Hz, 1 V).

Interface D is a beautiful sounding, uncolored, very high efficiency speaker. The individual drivers are extremely well made and very robust with 16 lb. magnets on both the woofer and vented midrange. The cabinetry quality is also exemplary. Between the controls on the equalizer and those on the speakers themselves they can be dialed in to any conceivable room environment but I believe they will work best in larger rooms. A speaker sold today of similar quality and audio performance would cost upwards of 10K dollars in my opinion. I also own AR LST speakers, JBL 212 speakers, PSB Stratus Golds and more. These EV's are really superb.

I have two pairs. Every other speaker I listen to falls short in comparison. If you find a pair, buy them.
Electro-Voices Flagship model from 1977-83 with top quality drivers and a speaker design way ahead of it's time. It came from Nidau, Switzerland.
If you have never heard of them before take a minute and do a little homework on these and you find the rarity and high performance is second to none.
EV-INTERFACE D II are also extremely efficient at 97 db ( more efficient than Tannoy Berkely ect...) requiring very little power to drive them to room filling levels. They can easily be run off 10 watts of tube power and sound incredible or they can handle a concert room filling 500 watts!
