Price firm, no offers, please. I only answer people who want to buy the antenna for $20. If you see this ad is available so please do not ask because I will not answer. I also do not answer people who are “interested“. However, I will give you a free telephone consultation about television antennas.
Full disclosure:
The last five photos are from the Internet.
Without the power inserter wall plate and a 12V power adapter, this antenna will only work passively in a very strong signal location.
The replacement part has changed and Winegard sells it direct for $45 plus tax and shipping. The Winegard customer service person said a 12V DC wire is connected by pushing it into an area on the back of the unit that now also has a cigarette lighter jack on the front.
My friend successfully used this antenna in San Francisco where it was relatively close and had line-of-sight to the transmitting antennas.
His installer discarded the inside AM/FM antenna and the indoor part that powers the antenna’s built-in preamplifier.
He mounted the antenna on a J pole that was attached to a flat sheet of plastic (see photo on a test pole).
I disassembled it to photograph the inside. The J pole and plastic part are included if you want them. You will have to reassemble it if you want to use it on the J pole. The test pole is not included.
For local pick-up I am a few blocks off of 680 on the border of Pleasant Hill and Concord, California.
