I bought it thinking I'd use it in a tri-amp speaker setup but decided to go with built in crossovers instead.
These are usually used in commercial or whole house multi-zone audio.
It would also be great as a separate in a theater surround setup.
The P800 packs 4 stereo amps built around hypex amp modules.
each channel is 100 watts at 8 ohms or 200 watts at 4 ohms.
each stereo amp pair can also be bridged to make a 400 watt (8 ohm) mono amp.
Has built in audio bus - each stereo pair can be set to either its own audio input or to a common bus input
also has 12v trigger for the whole amp and selectable trigger options per stereo pair.
comes with factory box and phoenix plugs
$500 is a great price - these normally sell for over $1000.
