Kef Five Two Model 7 envelops you in the surround sound of a full 5.0 set-up using only 2 speakers - all you need to add to get the full 5.1 effect is a subwoofer.
The Five Two produce five-channel surround sound from two speakers--the front left/center/right and left/right surround channels are reproduced by different drivers within the speakers (with an optional bass channel routed to a separate subwoofer). Unlike many self-powered virtual-surround systems that rely on proprietary digital surround processing, KEF's Model 7 was designed as a freestanding system, so it can be used with any A/V receiver. 16 feet of wire with proprietary connectors on the speakers input. Five pairs of wires intended for hookup to a receiver's five channel speaker outputs.
