Acoustic Research LST speakers - $3,000 (dublin / pleasanton / livermore)

WOW. This is your chance in the Bay Area to obtain a pair of rare Acoustic Research LSTs. These sound amazing. The woofer surrounds were re-done by Orange County Speaker in Garden Grove CA by their lead tech shortly before they closed up shop in 2016. The caps in the crossovers were replaced with new, Audyn Q4 series films for the mid-range and tweeter sections; new NP electrolytics for the input caps and a new NP electrolytic on the woofer by-pass. A new Audyn Q4 1mf film cap was also installed across the 2500uf input bank for by-pass as recommended by other LST fans.
All original caps that were replaced will be included in the sale of these LSTs.
No crossover mods were performed except for the added 1mf cap to the input bank in order to retain the sonic integrity of the original design.
All drivers are original and the only repairs performed were the re-foaming of the two woofers.
