I am the original owner of this vintage player. Top of the line for Philips back in the day but likely manufactured by Sony in Japan. It has been sitting in the closet for many years and I am never going to get around to using it again. This is all original and includes the remote control and original box. Unfortunately, I don't have the owners manual any longer. One modification I made: A Fiber Optic output, which was not available when manufactured but offered as a third party kit was installed. I will include an appropriate 1 meter fiber optic cable based on your needs: XLO Bayonet to Bayonet OR Belden/Corning Bayonet to Screw in - not both. You will need this if you prefer an outboard DAC. But, the stock ladder DAC sounds great as is. I also replaced the drive belts about 3-5 years ago so those are working just fine now. Tested out through the headphone jack and audio outputs with no issue.
