I am the second owner of these vintage speakers - my uncle being the first. Top of the line back in the day. These have been sitting in the living room for years with little use. I've occasionally connected them but not for an extensive period of time. They are just taking up room that I need. Unfortunately, I don't have the original owners manual any longer. I do have a good copy, though, which I will provide - see below notes.
NOTES:
* The woofers were re-coned in the past.
* The electrolytic capacitors in the Indicator unit for each speaker have been changed as of 9/10 to new Vishay caps at 16v (formerly Wima 10v). The Wimas were more than 20 years old and tested just outside of tolerance. All capacitors in the crossovers are film.
* One crossover board shows some scorching from a bit of excess heat from a resistor in the HF section. I do not believe there was significant damage to the board trace.
* I have repaired the area in one speaker where two of the castors pulled out due to mishandling.
* The finish on both boxes had become soiled and faded. I re-oiled both with two coats of tung oil after a good scrub down.
* The dust cap on one of the woofers should be re-glued back down. However, that should not affect sound quality.
* The fuses needed some cleaning and replacement with correct values.
