Things I've done to try and get this working:
-Installed the maintenance kit (rollers and transfer roller)
-Purchased a brand new HP toner cartridge (not aftermarket)
-Installed a new fuser
It still gets paper jams from time to time.
It comes with the old fuser (that apparently works since the new one didn't fix the issue)
(The toner cart. cost $50, the fuser was $60 and the maint. kit was $25). Use the new parts for your 4240 or try to fix this one.
$25 for the printer and all the new parts. I have a network card for it if you want.
