If you've ever wanted a pair of NS 1000's, you should consider YAMAHA Speaker NS-500Ma. Much Lower Price and but provide just as detailed with quicker bass response in my opinion.
The 500ma has totally different drivers to the standard ns500m with larger magnets and different cone composition , The tweeter is a JA574 beryllium dome, the mid driver is a ja1219 carbon composite cone which has a slightly more laid back mid range than the 1000 and the bass diver is a ja3117 with a pure cross carbon fiber cone not like the standard ns500m's carbon composite cone
