Sunfire Theater Grand TGA-5200 features Bob Carver’s Sunfire Tracking Downconverter technology. The model TGA-5200 features five 200W amplifiers producing enormous power yet runs cool and is relatively lightweight and compact. It is capable of delivering 200W x 5 into 8 ohms and 400W per channel into 4 ohms. Connections include balanced and single ended inputs for all channels plus an additional single ended connector for each channel that can be used for easy daisy chaining channels together in a bi-amp configuration or use with external crossovers. Two output options are available for the main left and right channels: current source for a warmer, more open tube sound or voltage source for tightest response. Use both output options in bi-wire configurations for a really nice sound option – warm highs and tight, punchy lows.
