Phase Tech may not be as well-known as some other speaker companies, but they have been in the audio business a long time. Their main business was making drivers for other speaker companies, eventually they designed and sold their own line of high-quality speakers. In fact, they patented the soft-dome tweeter.
The PC 600 HO features one 8" driver and a 1" soft-dome tweeter it delivers tight bass, crisp highs, and that warm, detailed sound audiophiles love. These speakers have really great high end and the low end is no slouch either it is very flat stated as 35Hz -3db. The sound is very smooth and detailed as an audiophile grade speaker should be. There is no boominess it is a flat accurate speaker. The veneer is good overall with some staining.

A great speaker, price is firm, I need to sell to make space for a home renovation.
