This unique design gives the MC7106 a level of flexibly unrivaled in the marketplace. It can be configured in a number of ways including:
6 x 100 watts (160 into 4 ohms) for surround sound
3 x 200 watts (this was my configuration for driving my front stage) for front/center speakers or stereo + subwoofer
2 x 320 watts for stereo
Bi-amp stereo configuration, to power the low & high drivers of each speaker individually.
These are McIntosh watts and may actually be bench rated higher,
