SDV Services, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in Alameda,
California.
We are looking for a sharp, motivated engineering or construction management graduate who can read
plans, think critically, and help drive work forward.
This is a hybrid office/field role with hands-on exposure to both project management and
estimating. You will support specific projects while acting as a key link between our crews,
clients, suppliers, and SDV management.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and budgeting.
• Support project execution from start to finish including requests for information, change
orders, and submittals.
• Coordinate with field crews, clients, and suppliers.
• Communicate clearly and stay committed to project success.
• Help solve problems and keep work moving.
Qualifications:
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or similar
• Proficiency with spoken and written English language.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Interest in both estimating and project management.
• Proficiency with basic construction software (PDF plan review, Excel, email)
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow within the role.
