Creative Assistant (Oakland & San Francisco)
Maker Studio Kidz | Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: Oakland & San Francisco (travel between sites required)

Maker Studio Kidz is looking for a Creative Production Assistant to help us build, prep, and run our art + STEM experiences for kids and families.
We’re a growing creative studio producing everything from workshops and camps to large-scale events and brand activations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being both behind the scenes and part of the action.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Production Support
Assist in planning and executing workshops, camps, and special events
Support on-site event setup, breakdown, and facilitation
Help manage event timelines, supplies, and production needs
Coordinate logistics across Oakland and San Francisco locations
Materials & Studio Operations
Prepare, organize, and assemble materials for classes and events
Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering/restocking
Ensure studio spaces are clean, organized, and ready for programming
Support production of creative samples, kits, and installations
Marketing & Content Support
Assist with capturing photo/video content during events and classes
Help create and schedule social media posts (Instagram, etc.)
Support outreach efforts with local partners and community spaces
Assist with basic marketing tasks (flyers, email updates, promotions)
