Ujimaa Foundation is seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Lead Program Assistant to support our K–8 after-school program. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment. The Lead Program Assistant supports the Program Director in the daily operation of the after-school program while providing leadership and guidance to program staff.
Qualifications:
Administrative experience preferred.
Experience working with children and families.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse communities.
Enthusiasm for physical activity, outdoor adventure, and youth engagement.
Comfortable enforcing program policies.
