A small local private tutoring company is hiring a highly qualified elementary tutor to work in-person sessions primarily in the Oakland and Berkeley area, with the possibility of some families in Pleasant Hill, Orinda or Walnut Creek. Please apply if any of these locations work.
The candidate must have experience teaching, working with children, special education and/or intervention/tutoring services. Highly qualified candidates must be compassionate, collaborative, and communicative. Consultation for each student is available and ongoing.
The position is a part-time contract. The tutor has the flexibility to create their own schedule and communicate directly with each family.
The pay starts at $80/hour and increases based on experience.
