We are ONLY hiring if you:
> Live in or near Berkeley, Emeryville, or Oakland
> Have your own reliable vehicle
> Have a smartphone with a data plan and a working camera
> Are available a few hours most days including weekends and all U.S. bank holidays
What you’ll do:
~ Care for kitties in their homes for 30-60 minutes per visit
~ Feed, refresh water, clean litter, brush, play, and snuggle
~ Occasionally administer medication per instructions
~ Navigate multiple homes per day and follow care instructions exactly
~ Work comfortably around in-home security cameras
~ Pick up and return client keys as needed
~ Use apps to track visits and communicate with clients and the team
You’re a great fit if you have:
* Unconditional love for all cats, even the spicy ones
* Strong customer service and written communication skills
* Proven reliability, attention to detail, and honesty
* Comfort working independently, problem-solving and managing keys responsibly
* Ability to sit on floors, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
* Willingness to complete all hiring steps, including a background check
* Animal care experience is a big plus, including shelter work, grooming, vet tech, or medical
