I am looking for a morning attendant one to two days a week. The days are somewhat flexible, and may include two of the following: Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays. I am also hoping to find someone with the flexibility to fill in sometimes if one of my other attendants calls in sick.
Duties include: stand-by assistance with transfers (no lifting), showering, dressing, grooming, cooking and feeding me breakfast (and clean up afterward), together with some occasional additional miscellaneous tasks. The routine normally takes about two hours, for which I pay $60.
This position is IHSS funded, so already registered IHSS workers- or at least people who are willing to register- are preferred.
I live with my partner and our three cats in a house in Berkeley. I have Cerebral Palsy, and am 74 years old.
