The following shifts are available. It is not necessary to take all of them, just let me know which work for you.
Saturday & Sunday
2 PM to 4 PM (Lunch)
6:30 PM to 8 PM
Tuesday and Thursday
2 PM to 4 PM (Lunch)
WHO AM I?
I'm a C 4-5 quadriplegic (hence the need for personal care assistance); a graphic designer, nonprofit cofounder and adaptive skier of alternating involvement depending on the time of year (when it's snowing). A big lover of film, music, writing, local and organic food (farmer's markets), the joy of exercise, SKIING, the dubs, Berkeley, the Sierras (Tahoe), friends, and life!
Too: I'm laid-back, easy to get along with and always in a good mood (true).
ABOUT THE JOB: Personal care work. No experience necessary. Training provided. Lifting is required. The working environment is great.
Location: Smack dab in the middle of downtown Berkeley. Near BART and buses.
$30 per hr.
IHSS enrollment is a big plus.
