I have had this truck about 10 years now and probably driven it no more that 100 miles. I have a disabled daughter and just do not have time to work on it and finish it. The truck is in good running condition as is and has a clean title. I do not have any history on the engine, but it does run good with no leaks and doesn’t smoke. Could use an alignment
The frame was originally a long bed but converted to short bed by previous owner. It appears that the actual bed is an original short bed. It has been sitting in a dry storage for nearly the entire time I have owned it. There is no visible rust except for a 1/8-1/4" bubble on the door. That was there when I got it and it has not gotten any larger and may not be rust at all, rather than a defect when it was painted. I have already done some upgrades such as lowering spindles/brackets, new STEEL grill, not aluminum, new Classic Instruments gauges, new chrome master cylinder, new ceramic coated long tube headers, new carburetor, new distributor and wires, new steering wheel (sure I am missing something else).
There are some issues that I know of: The doors do not close properly so they need some adjustment. While the paint overall is fairly decent, there is a scrape on the drivers side of the truck from when it was in storage (what a story that was). The bed has spray on bed liner, there is a section about 4"x4”; that was cut at 90 degree angle and peeling up… and I couldnt get the bed latch to work. There is no heater or air components, although I do have brand new control unit already in.
I have tons of new parts, over 10K, 90% still new in boxes, all new CPP suspension including all (3) cross members and motor mounts, 5x7 drop (see picture of the CPP Truck stance for reference), sway bar, control arms (all tubular), rebuilt rear end (think 3.73 gears), Champion 4 row radiator, CPP under bed aluminum gas tank, inner fender wells, new Energy Suspension body mounts (see below for list... sure I am missing stuff though)
I have a SWB frame that I was planning on building with all the new parts as a rolling chassis and then swap over the cab and bed, plan was to get it powder coated but just have not had the time to get to that. Also included is a set of US mags with good BFGoodrich Radial TA’s
The only other thing I was going to get was a front disc brake setup to have a complete rolling chassis (or can pull from the truck itself) and a new wire harness.
I am by no means in any rush to sell this. I am asking a firm 35K with everything I have to include.
Cash in hand for any test rides
May consider trades of equal value, no rust, must be in good running condition.... 66-72 Chevelle, 69-72 Camaro, 70-72 GTO, 77-81 Trans AM.... or newer Challenger/Charger R/T, Scat Pack or above with low miles, 2020 and up Silverado/Sierra Crew Cab with low miles, must have clean title.... let me know what you got
Below is a pretty accurate list of the items since I got the truck, most of which are not installed and still in original boxes
