Work completed:
Fuel tank cleaned, sealed
New fuel pump within this year
Carburetor rebuilt ( it's a 1973 stock replacement Autolite 4300)
New intake manifold and valve cover gaskets
Oil/filter changed this month, tune up.
All original smog equipment intact
Hood and rear valance replaced and primed
Vinyl top stripped, metal treated with POR15, sealed, top coated and finished with textured paint.
Needs:
Steering rag joint is worn
Idler arm bushings worn
Tires are old and mismatched
3rd member has excessive whine, complete rear axle assembly comes with the car.
Vacuum system needs several replacement hoses, rear vent does work.
Climate controls inop. Fan works but noisy.
Sequential turn signal diagnosis (currently working on this)
Replacement shocks come with the car. ( I may install these soon)
The car runs and drives well, no oil leaks, engine strong with good compression. Trans shifting fine, cooling system ok, no leaks. Power windows and power seat working. Power antenna switch ok and sends power but antenna motor may need repair. Original radio and rear speakers working. Power vacuum locks inop. No rust anywhere.
Lots of other extra parts, all 4 doors, extra bumpers, both fenders, door panels, original seats, other exterior and interior trim pieces. Comes with shop manual, 1967 Thunderbird Diagnosis and Technical Information binder, also Deluxe Marti Report.
Prefer someone who is looking to buy the complete package, but I'm flexible. Also willing to complete some of the needed repairs for the right buyer.
