I am selling my beloved NA Miata. This car has been amazing to me but the time has come for me to put money into new projects. I bought it last year and it basically became my covid project. It was already in good shape when I got it, which is why I picked this car, but I’ve put a lot of work and love into making this thing a really sweet, bone stock besides suspension and wheel, reliable daily driver little roadster.
The paint shines perfectly and only has a few blemishes around the gas cap that can be buffed out. The body is clean besides a few small dings around the front fender. Basically every day I take this car out it gets compliments or turns heads.
The interior is great for a car this age, original leather seats with functioning headrest speakers, clean tan carpet and leather interior. There’s cosmetic rips on the drivers seat. It’s got power windows and a CD player, with new tweeters and I just redid all the wiring very cleanly for all speakers including the headrest speakers, and if you know about restoring NA’s you know this can be a pain.
The soft top has no leaks and has been functionally fine for me all winter, but looks faded and the back window is fogged. Again if you know NA’s, they either have a brand new Robbins top, or an old original one. Well this one functions just fine, opens and closes just fine, locks and keeps the rain out.
The engine is running great at 208k miles. Here’s a list of some maintenance I did at 206k miles
New valve cover gasket
New spark plugs and wires
Replaced all rubber hoses with silicone
Replaced pcv gasket and hose
New air filter
New oil filter and oil change at 207k
The engine revs and feels great. Clutch shifts nice and smoothly.
Brand new MST 15x8 +0 offset wheels and brand new Hankook Ventus directional tires 195/55 with a slight stretch.
Brand new Godspeed coilovers with adjustable height and dampening. These things really make the car feel the way you want it to in the corners. Paired with the 15x8 0 offset wheels it’s a sick fitment and stance with a slight amount of natural camber from lowering the car.
With the new wheels and suspension this car is ready to take to the track or auto cross event, or reliable enough to daily like I’ve been.
The reason I’m asking 4200 is the wheels and suspension, and the overall cleanness of the car. This is not your average clapped out Craigslist Miata. All work has been done by me personally with the intention of keeping this car for a long time, or by a mechanic. I’ve tried to be thorough about the car and transparent about its issues but feel free to ask me about anything or shoot me a reasonable offer.
If you want, I will also throw in a set of 16x7 enkeis with burners on them that were originally on the car, for free. You can use them to slide or sell them for like 300-400 bucks. I can also throw in a small Jack and some tools for free.
Feel free to call or text me. Or email if you prefer.
Would consider a trade for an RV or camper van, a truck with a camper shell, a Tacoma or ranger, an awd wagon, or top shelf 420.
