I am considering selling my 2001 Chevy Suburban 2500 with the 8.1L
Black with tan interior. It has been a family trip vehicle its whole life. And it tows a 35 ft travel trailer better than a duramax. Towed it up Tehachapi Pass at 70-75.
This is the LT model with a lot of the extras and heated seats.
I put in a pioneer double din dvd player and screen. Upgraded all the speakers and sub. Has reverse camera installed. Has brake controller installed. Replaced the front captains chair leather. Replaced the spark plugs and wires at 130k. Has new thermostat. Recently replaced both downstream O2 sensors. Had the truck custom tuned by Diablo Lew. Brake pads and rotors replaced 200 miles ago. Had 4wd activator pin replaced 200 miles ago. Upgraded grill and front headlights. Has HID fog lights. Custom exhause with 3" tip. Has been on registered non op since 2022.
This is on off road wheels and 37s. Have brand new spare wheel and tire. Has 6” suspension lift and a 3” body lift. Has 2” hitch with extreme tow package. Capacity of 12,000 lbs.
This has the 8.1L and 4L80E transmission.
I bought this is 2018 with 127k miles. It’s only at 139k now.
This is an exploration. I Absolutley love this truck. The engine runs so strong I know she will go forever if taken care of. Putting feelers out there. This truck is a unicorn and I’m not certain if I want to sell. With the lift and wheels already installed you won’t find anything else like this.
I do understand there are a handful of small issues due to age. A trip to pick n pull with a little bit of cash can fix all the small things right away. Small things like missing a window button, the dash cover is cracked, was glued back together and is covered, two front overhead light buttons are not functioning, the ac heat switch needs to be replaced. Small things like this. Probably 300 at pick n pull and it’s a done deal.
Got a lot of emails asking for a price. I’m putting out feelers. That’s for you to decide and make an offer. So I’ll start at $15,000
