Selling my 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. Clean car with 165k miles, automatic, starts up, strong engine but may need transmission rebuilt. Will need to be towed
Pros:
-tons of new parts
-less than 5k miles on new vq35 engine
-new catalytic converters
-new coil packs
-new radiator
-clean black leather interior
-clean exterior aside from small imperfections/some small dents on the passenger side
-nice aftermarket suspension (slightly lowered, coils, shocks, struts)
-drilled/slotted brakes
-motegi traklite mr221's
Cons:
-will only drive for a few minutes before the car slips out of gear and will not go back into gear until the car has been shut off and completely cools down. Seems like it's probably a transmission issue
It started having the transmission issue in 2021 and I had other projects to focus on so it has been sitting since then. Has been registered on non-op since 2022 because of this and shouldn't have any registration backfees. Clean title in hand in my name
The engine starts right up with a jump and runs super smooth
I have receipts for all the work done to it around 2020-2021, at least $10k in receipts, probably more. Tbh most of my asking price is due to the motegi wheels, which were over $3000 alone. Just trying to get back some of the money I put into this car
