Up for sale is a nicely restored 1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500. It has 68,500 miles. Its has a factory overdrive gearbox. It has new parts since October: gas tank, fuel sender,convertible top,top dash,wood dash,glove boxes,carpet, doors panels, upper doors capes,outer & inner window seals,carpet set,wiring harness,alternator,upgrade Flame thrower 12V coil,fuel pump,starter solenoid,wiper blades,5 new tires,rear fuel tank cover panel,ignition switch,signal switch,wiper washer pump,brakes lines, rear brake wheel cylinders, DOT5 brake and clutch fluid,bake and clutch masters,clutch slave cylinder,spare tire,tools kit,aluminum radiator,new coolant hoses,new catalyst converter, EGR valve,complete new exhaust/muffler, rear KYB shocks,water pump,electronic distributor,battery. The car received a new head gasket, I used the best only payen head gasket,valve jobs,new spark plugs,oil,coolant,rebuild carburetor and Etc.... I had spent over $5,000 in new parts and many labor of love hours spending on her. The car was passed smog last August and is current registered. California blue license plates. I'm reluctant selling the car but I need to down size my car collection. I'm asking for $15,000.
The car was at Orinda car show two weeks ago. This is a show car and restored correctly down to nuts and bolts. The car is running strong and shifting smooth through all gears. The overdrive gear box is working in order.
