This is a 1977 BMW 320i in wonderful condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. We’ve kept everything as-original, inside and out, though we’ve replaced and rebuilt as needed to keep it driving well and looking terrific. The one exception to strict originalism is the sound system, as we’ve added a pyle bluetooth amp and cerwin vega speakers. The car is a four-speed manual with a slightly larger engine (2.0 instead of 1.8) than the US-bound five-speeds. It’s a slick-top (no sun roof), which is a plus in this car, as they tended to be a liability. The color is a hard-to-find factory color: jade green. In sum, this is a lovely collector’s car for those who want a car that’s as much fun as a collector’s condition 2002 at a fraction of the cost – for now; early year 320i’s will catch up with 2002’s eventually.
Passed California smog check on 9/3/2024.
