This beautiful Covette Restomod is perfect for enthusiasts who want the perfect compromise between reliable performance and vintage style. Enjoy cruising a storied classic that mixes the best attributes of old school Detroit muscle with the swift performance of modern American iron. And it won’t last long! By upgrading the driveline and doing a tasteful restoration, this Corvette is impressive on the road AND at the show.
The restoration focused on both looks and drivability. The sculpted body is capped by tight black canvas, and that canvas floats effortlessly amid rich black two-stage that is iced with a painted hood stripe. At the front of the stripe polished bumpers center a stainless-trimmed grille between small, bullet-style parking lamps. Behind those lamps, an ornate header emblem leads a 1966 Corvette Big Block Hood to front stainless-trimmed glass and muted wipers.
Specifications include a 350ci Chevrolet V8 Small Block from BluePrint Engines, polished air cleaner, coated Holley 4-barrel with polished stainless fuel lines. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and polished valve covers, aluminum heads and polished stainless breather. Coated Hedman Hedders with loomed MSD Street Fire Wires and HEI distributor. Aluminum radiator with dual electric puller fans. Temec 5-speed manual transmission, Dana 44 differential, independent suspension is upgraded with a Van Steel sway bar, modern control arms and Viking coil-overs. Large diameter pipes with MagnaFlow mufflers. This car has Vintage air conditioning, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes with painted Delco calipers, 18 inch Cragar 610C wheels, lowered ride height, custom leather interior with modern Bluetooth capable Retrosound audio, polished and wood-rimmed steering wheel.
