Recently pulled out of a 15 year slumber. Factory Lemans blue exterior with bright blue vinyl interior. Originally was a 350 300hp engine but was changed to a new 350 300hp shortblock at some point using many of the factory parts including original heads, intake, etc (believed less than 5k miles on engine). All smog equipment still there. Original automatic transmission. Factory air conditioning. Power windows work great. Vintage AM/FM/Cassette stereo with surface mount 6x9 speakers. Paint was done quite a while ago but still shines up with some flaws from age. This
Not long before the car went into storage the previous owner installed the new 350 CI 300 HP short block engine, front and rear suspension was gone through including; all new teflon bushings, new strut rods, new rear leaf spring, new ball joints, idler arm, etc. The rear end was rebuilt with all new gears and parts. New radiator. New GM A/C compressor.
After coming out of storage in 2018 the car went in to the shop to get it road worthy. It got all new fluids, brakes redone including new calipers and rotors turned and the transmission got new seals and gaskets. New BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.
Corvette starts, runs, sounds and drives great. Obviously not a concours show car but is a wonderful driver that is in a great color combination that gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. True miles unknown. More photos at carbuffs.com.
