I’m looking for an OAKLAND NATIVE MEXICAN family with an ofrenda/altar inside their home who’d be willing to let me get some pictures /video for a film project !!! I can explain more details when we talk, but the requirements are very simple, the ofrenda needs to be on the larger side , not super small, and It needs To be in a decently sized room, preferably a living room! I am a Mexican artist (my family is from Sinaloa annd i grew up in the Bay) and I’m working with some artists in Oakland on a music video/film project that is related to Dia de Los Muertos. We are looking for a space with an Altar to do a couple simple scenes. Filming should take approximately 1 hour. Pay is $100, and we are also happy to pay for lunch for your family for the day!
