I'm an African American male in my mid-30s, laid back, easygoing, and work full-time. I currently rent a studio in Richmond for about $1,400/month plus PG&E and internet, and I'd rather put that money toward a bigger place and split costs with someone.
Ideally, I'm looking to rent a house in or near Richmond since my commute to work is only about 10 minutes. A house would be perfect because I'm a car enthusiast and mechanic with several project cars, so extra parking, a driveway, or garage space would be a huge plus.
