Seeking Experienced Civil Rights Housing Mediator – Fair Housing / Disability Discrimination Case
ADR program for Alameda County does not have a good selection among the hundreds for me to choose from. I need help because it’s a railroad institutional legal system game to throw off pro se litigants.
I am a self-represented disabled senior plaintiff in an active Alameda County Superior Court case involving a large corporate housing provider. My case centers on disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, retaliation, and fair housing violations in a HUD-subsidized property.
I am seeking a highly qualified, neutral mediator with a strong background in civil rights and fair housing law, particularly cases involving power imbalances between individual tenants and institutional housing providers.
This matter is not a routine landlord-tenant dispute. It involves federal and state civil rights protections for disabled tenants and requires a mediator experienced in discrimination and systemic bias cases.
Ideal qualifications include:
• Former civil rights, fair housing, or disability rights attorney
• Former legal aid or public interest housing attorney
• Experience with HUD, Section 504, FHA, or ADA housing matters
• Background in civil rights litigation before becoming a mediator
