This beautiful hand painted Cup and Saucer Set features swags with red and blue flowers bordered by a blue and black patterned design on the rim and the classic orange brown lusterware base. The inside of the cup is pearlized lusterware. The cup is delicate and translucent - light shines through. The set is marked Japan on the bottom so is likely from the late 1920's to 40's. It's in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, or cracks.
