This 1954 Dixie Lid series consists of 18 Baseball Players. They came in 3 different sizes, 2 1/4" diameter, 2 3/4" and 3 1/4". The fronts have a picture of the Baseball player with a sqaured off bottom. In addition they have the Players name, Team and a line that says "Get Dixie Lid 3-D Starviewer!" The 1954 lids were designed to be viewed in 3D and to view them you had to get two copies of the same card, one with the tab on the left and one with the tab on the right. You also had to have a Stereo Starviewer for the 3-D effect. There was a separate Set of 18 Movie Stars. Dixie lids were custom made for many different ice cream makers. Dixie included advertising for the ice cream companies on the top of the lid.
