Hi! This item was pulled out of its box once in 2007 and looked at briefly then put into wrapping paper (except for the open end) and stored until today (pulled out to create this ad). Hence, 90% of this entire thing, box and all, has been sealed for the last 17 years (and never got hit with problems like a flood or whatever). It's in great shape!

Note about the item: This is NOT a metal (accurate) reproduction of the movie prop that many people are creating nowadays. This is a plastic, battery-operated lightsaber (toy), where pushing a button would have the (spring-loaded) "light blade" come out, and (if you had batteries installed) lighting effects would fire up and such. (To assure, batteries were NOT put into this one, no corroding, etc.) So, yeah, more in the realm of an elaborate toy than a meticulous reproduction of the movie prop.

The toy itself (within the great-condition box) is immaculate.

There is minor creasing and similar on the box around the one end that was opened. This opened end of the box I'd give a "fair" rating. But the rest of it might be the best shape you will find right now; the plastic window is in great shape, as is the box condition all around it.
