The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of our modular housing projects. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of both on-site construction and off-site manufacturing processes. You will be the critical link between the factory and the final installation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Project Leadership: Manage multiple modular construction projects from design handoff through manufacturing, transportation, foundation work, and final on-site installation.
-Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules (including factory production and on-site work) and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
-Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, factory production teams, and on-site subcontractors.
-Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to building codes, safety regulations, design specifications, and company quality standards throughout the entire manufacturing and installation process.
-Logistics: Coordinate the complex logistics of transporting modules from the factory to the construction site.
-Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and close-out packages.
Qualifications
-Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years specifically managing modular or
prefabricated construction projects is highly preferred.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
-Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and permitting processes. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a bonus.
-Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in project management software, Spanish and Mandarin speakers highly encouraged to apply.
-Travel: Ability to travel regularly to manufacturing facilities and construction sites.
