Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and people-oriented individual who can teach art classes, engage with families to help enroll students, and support the day-to-day operations of our art studio.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, enjoys teaching art, and is comfortable communicating with parents while helping the studio grow.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Student Experience
Teach art classes for children (ages 4–14+) following Damoya’s curriculum
Guide students step-by-step while encouraging creativity and confidence
Prepare lesson materials and ensure a clean, organized classroom
Observe student progress and provide simple feedback to parents when needed
Maintain a positive, patient, and professional classroom environment
Sales & Enrollment Support
Welcome new families and explain Damoya’s programs clearly and confidently
Assist with trial class sign-ups, class packages, and monthly enrollments
Follow up with trial families to help convert them into ongoing students
Answer basic questions about schedules, pricing, and programs (training provided)
Help represent Damoya professionally during inquiries and studio visits
Daily Studio Operations
Open and close the studio as scheduled
Manage class check-ins and attendance
Keep art supplies organized and restock when needed
Maintain cleanliness of studio, materials, and student work areas
Support basic admin tasks (simple scheduling, messages, or coordination)
Qualifications
Required
Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camps, childcare, or art classes)
Basic art skills (drawing, painting, crafts; formal degree not required)
Strong communication skills with both children and parents
Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with basic sales conversations (training provided)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Art education or fine arts background
Experience in customer service, education, or studio management
Bilingual (English + Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus, but not required)
