For sale is an early 90's Schwinn Paramount higher end (for the time period) mountain bike frame and matching fork, ready to build with 26" wheels. The Paramount Series 70 frames were made with Tange Prestige chromoly double butted tubing, which was meant for lighter weight and strength. The brake studs will support both cantilever and V-brakes, but not disc brakes.

The frame and fork are in remarkably good condition, given that they are over 30 years old. There are minor scratches and scuffs expected on a frame that is 30 + years old, but no dents or dings. Overall, the frame & fork are in very good mechanical condition and ready for a rebuild.

The frame is 15", measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube. It is a size small frame, for someone who is around 5'2" - 5'6".

I can envision the Paramount Series 70 frame and fork being re-purposed into a really nice gravel, cross-country or bike-packing rig, or a super durable street/commuter bike. Whatever the case, this will make for a seriously cool, functional and high-performing bike to suit your needs.
