Selling a CycleOps Fluid2 indoor bicycle trainer. Asking $50 or best offer.
This is a classic fluid trainer, known for having realistic road feel and progressive resistance. The harder you pedal, the harder it gets, just like riding outside. No knobs or cables to adjust while riding; just shift your gears to change intensity. The large flywheel smooths out your pedal stroke so it doesn't feel "choppy."
I've used this for indoor training sessions during the winter when it gets dark earlier. It's significantly quieter than older wind or magnetic trainers, making it apartment-friendly. Worked great for two seasons, but I decided to upgrade to a direct drive trainer.
It is a "wheel-on" trainer, compatible with most road and mountain bikes (frames with quick-release skewers). It folds up compact for storage under a bed or in a closet. I'll also throw in a brand new, unused Decathlon/B'Twin 700x25c trainer tire. These are great to swap on to your rear wheel to minimize wear and tear on your regular rear tire during trainer season or if your normal tire is more treaded/knobby.
Condition:
Fully functional. Runs smooth and consistent. There are some cosmetic signs of wear and tear, but the frame is rock solid and the roller is in good shape.
Great low-cost way to get into Zwift (just add a cheap speed sensor to your bike, and even better with a power meter!).
Specs:
Fluid resistance unit (infinite resistance curve)
PowerTuned flywheel for road-like inertia
Self-cooling design to prevent overheating during long intervals
Foldable legs for storage
