It’s an aluminum front triangle with a carbon rear. Very stiff and fast. I bought it in 2004 brand new and have many miles on it. Never crashed but stupidly leaned against something and it fell over which explains some of the paint nicks. No dents though. There is some rubbing wear in the fork blades when I ran 28mm tires. I took them off as soon as I realized there was rubbing.
This is being sold as a frame set with headset, stem, bars, bb, cranks, seat post and clamp. Everything is original
Cranks, seat post, bars and fork are carbon
This bike when built was about 17 lbs. I had Campy Chorus with Mavic ksyerium wheels on it, believe, if that helps with the weight math
I’m 5’6” and I believe the frame size is a 52
I wouldn’t necessarily say this is an upgrade if you’re looking for that but rather a cool pc of Bianchi history.
