This listing is for a turn key fully restored and outboard converted 1972 Skipjack 20 open. I purchased the boat in 2018 from the original owner who only used the boat in Lake Tahoe during the summers and dry stored it during the winter months. It was completely stock with the inboard/outboard setup when I purchased it. In 2023 I removed the engine and had a full width custom Aluminum bracket made and fitted to the hull by Carlos Boat Works out of San Rafael. All the fiberglass work and hull paint was completed by them with over 100hrs invested in the conversion. Once the bracket and fiberglass was completed. I had a brand new 2023 Honda BF250 in White mounted with mechanical controls for reliability as well as hydraulic steering with Custom wrapped steering wheel. There is a new custom built 73 gallon Center mounted fuel tank. The boat is equipped with Lenco Electric trim tabs. During the refit the Upholstery was redone by West Coast Canvas to include new Bimini top with izonglass including a aft drop curtain and new carpet under the V berth. as well as new bolstering and new V berth cushions. Custom sea deking has been installed to cover all flooring including side rails and bow area top side. The batteries were relocated to the forward berth to include 2 group 24 batteries for the starting/house system as well as two group 27 batteries for the bow mounted minn kota Riptide Terrova Saltwater Trolling motor with I pilot link with 80lb thrust and a 72" shaft. Included wireless remote as well as foot pedal. All railing including the custom radar arch has been powdercoated satin black. The Electronics package is that of a much larger vessel including a Garmin 8616xsv 16" flush mounted screen with new Helm Pod custom fabricated during the refit. The sounder is getting signal from a through hull Garmin GT51M-TH transducer. Tunes are provided by Fusion MS-BB100 Black box with flush mounted blue tooth control through 2 8" JL audio marine speakers. To keep you safe in Fog and night travel you have Garmin fantom 18 Radar in Black as well as FLIR M232 Thermal Camera wired to the MFD. There are 2 Rigid 6" 360 Lights facing forward and 2 Ridid flood lights facing aft for night fishing. For anchoring the boat has a Lewmar V700 Windlass with 150' of rope and 25' of chain with 14lb Lewmar Delta Fast Set Anchor. For communications there is a ICOM M330 VHF with black low profile 4' Shakespear Centennial Antenna in Black. The boat is plumbed with two washdown pumps coming in through a pickup on the bottom of the hull one to feed the raw water washdown and one to feed a custom knee actuated hand wash out the port side. There is also a bait pump to feed a removable bait well that is plumbed to discharge through a transom mounted scupper. For Comfort while underway There are two custom fiberglass storage boxes with Relaxn chairs with flip up bolsters for standing while under way with arm rests. They are mounted to Shock Wave Sentinel S5 Suspension bases with Air adjustable shocks. Rear facing there are two Vinyl Arm chair on Aluminum Pedestals. With the refit and bracket the boat is 25' overall length. It handles anything the bay or ocean can throw at it. It gets on plane at 22mph and cruises at 30mph burning 10GPH. Top speed with the current prop is at 43MPH. There is only 75 hrs on the motor and it just had a service. For those that know you cant get the layout, fishability for this price in a fiberglass hull. Well over 100k invested with 25k in electronics alone. Also included restored dual axel trailer with new wheels/ tires and new bunks and lighting as well as new winch. Included matching spare as well worth over 5k alone. Only reason I'm selling is with kids sports I'm just not using the boat enough. Serious inquiries only. Would be open to trade a resto mod car.
